Legendary Sampling Flips

Inspired by Sza’s new album CTRL, where she samples a J Dilla beat from my favorite Busta Rhymes album, I’ve collected five legendary moments in sampling history. From Minnie Riperton’s whisper-range in Lyrics to Go to the classic song Runnin’ by Pharcyde, I’ve included key moments where you can hear the exact part sampled. Of course, this is just a taste of what comes in my email newsletter!
